Bill, Tony, and Bob started a small tile business in 1994, pouring their energy and creativity into every project. Their shop quickly became a local favourite, known not only for its quality tiles but for the friendly, welcoming atmosphere the brothers cultivated. While the tile business thrived, the brothers always dreamed of creating a different kind of space – a place where people could relax, enjoy good drinks and share great times.

That dream eventually became a reality. “A Night on the Tiles” is the transformation of their once-popular tile shop into a vibrant, family-owned bar and venue. Drawing on the same attention to detail and dedication that made their tile business a success, Bill, Tony, and Bob have created a space where every drink, every event, and every visit is thoughtfully considered. What started as a corner shop full of tiles has become a cornerstone of West Malling’s social life – a place where craftsmanship meets conviviality, and where the brothers’ shared dream continues to thrive.

What does the name ‘Rovic’ mean?

Rovic is inspired by the names of our parents, Ronald and Victoria. It’s a tribute to the family values and sense of togetherness they instilled in us – a reminder of our roots and the foundation on which we built our bar and venue.
